چکیده
AIM : to improve the results of treatment in hemorrhoid Grade IV. PATIENTS AND METHODS: prospective randomized study included 101 patients with combined hemorrhoids IV were divided two groups. Both groups homogenous age and gender. All underwent open hemorrhoidectomy monopolar coagulation. Low-temperature argon plasma application was implemented postoperative period as an additional option main group at 2, 4, 6, 8, 14, 21, 30 days after surgery. Visual Analogue Scale (VAS, 0 10 points) used assess pain intensity. Bacteriological cytological tests performed then every 7 until wounds completely healed. The area wound rate healing calculated using a planimetric method. Quality life assessed before surgery, on 8 SF-36 questionnaire. RESULTS 30th day cytology confirmed occurred 38 (76.0%) 18(36.0%) control group, p = 0.0001. VAS score surgery 3 (3; 4) 4 5) points respectively, 0.00003. measuring showed significant difference physical component between groups: 48 (44; 53) vs 42 (38; 48) respectively (p < 0.05). On procedure, quality — 0.005. There found microbial content 104 107 CFU CONCLUSION low-temperature accelerates healing, well reduces A antimicrobial effect detected.

Multidimensional Fluid Modelling of Low-temperature Argon Plasma
In the contribution there is presented a description of the fluid modelling technique that can be used to fluid computer modelling of plasma behaviour in the vicinity of substrates immersed into plasma. The technique allow us to study multidimensional problems without symmetry in the geometry and, therefore, it can be used in many branches of the human activity. We have studied the behaviour of...
متن کاملLow temperature formation Silver-Copper alloy nanoparticles using hydrogen plasma treatment for fabrication of humidity sensor
In this paper, a novel method of producing bi-metallic alloy nanoparticles at low temperatures using hydrogen bombardment of thin films, deposited on glass substrates, is introduced. Optical and morphological characteristics of the nanoparticles were extensively studied for various conditions of plasma treatment, such as plasma power density, temperature, duration of hydrogen bombardment, thick...

متن کاملGastric pneumatosis after endoscopic argon plasma coagulation.
INTRODUCTION Endoscopic argon plasma coagulation (APC) is gaining widespread usage but its risk is underreported. CLINICAL PICTURE A 74-year-old man who received radical radiotherapy for gastric carcinoma 6 months ago was admitted for anaemia and maelena. Gastroscopy revealed haemorrhagic radiation gastritis. Endoscopic APC was performed but terminated when he complained of severe epigastric ...
متن کاملargon plasma coagulation in treatment of post intubation tracheal stenosis
introduction: acquired tracheal stenosis can be created by various malignant or benign causes. the most common cause of acquired non-malignant tracheal stenosis is endotracheal intubation, even for a short period. argon plasma coagulation is a non-contact method of thermal hemostasis. argon plasma coagulation can be used easily and fast and has low depth of penetration. methods: this study is ...
